Hi there! I’m Emilia and I’m a Product Designer based in Washington, DC.
I’m currently a Product Designer at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, an agency within the Department of Homeland Security. I’m working on designing applications that speed up the refugee and asylum application process.
Before that, I was a Senior UX Designer at Centene, a healthcare company, where I worked on products that helped people better understand and manage their health insurance. I’ve also worked at two digital agencies, where I learned UX strategy, content design, and overall website strategy. I started my career in digital marketing and project management before transitioning over to UX.
Throughout my career, I've been lucky to work with a variety of clients, including nonprofits, large associations, and e-commerce sites across many industries. Head to my portfolio to see some of my work.
Outside of Work:
I'm a naturally curious person who likes to stay busy and always be learning something new. In my spare time, you can find me running, planning my next trip abroad, looking for the best latte at coffeeshops in DC, and exploring our local restaurant and museum scene. I’m a member of the AIGA DC chapter and Civic Tech DC.
